What can show up on a shared portal screen?
A client portal in the browser can show another client's name, an amount, an email, or an account field next to the page you meant to share. PlainBlur can cover the parts you click or drag over before you share the tab. It is Chrome only, and it works on web pages, not desktop apps. The page is not uploaded.
How do I blur an SSN field?
Blur an SSN field by hand. Auto-blur does not target SSNs or other national ID numbers. Choose Blur an element and click the field, or drag an area over it. Alt+Shift+E picks an element. Alt+Shift+A drags an area. Alt+Shift+B shows or hides every blur.
Does it work with desktop tax software?
No. PlainBlur works on web pages in Chrome only. It does not blur a desktop tax application, a PDF in a desktop reader, or any window outside that browser page.
